You can be treated for hypertension by any general practitioner, or Family Medicine doctor. If you have a regular doctor, and they have suggested that you be seen by a cardiologist they should also give you a referral to one.. You don’t need a specialist.

My family is planning a fishing trip on the White River in mid July. What size line should I use and what approach would be best for that time of year? I know trout spook easily so I assume 4lb test is best but I don’t know. Can anybody give me some good advice? No, we don’t want to hire a guide.

I fish the White in Arkansas in mid July as well… Where do you put in? I agree with the post that stated that you shouldn’t anchor when the water is running…

I like Little Cleos and gold spinners with nightcrawlers. I have used some power bait as well, but do much better with live bait. I have never done very well with Salmon Eggs…

Because it isn’t a real sport!

what type of fish can i expect to catch. thanks for you answers
also whats the best bait to use for each. i am looking to fish for fish i can eat.

Probably the # 1 good eating fish you will catch is Redfish, Spec Sea-trout, Weakfish & Flounder.

(I think people in SC call Redfish "Spot-Tail Bass".)

Here’s a good site to peruse about fishing SC-

Generally, you would want to use Spinning or Baitcast outfit’s in the Medium/Medium Heavy action.

If I were you I’d spool my new reels with Power Pro Braided line 6/20, (use a 14-17LB Flurocarbon leader). A good idea is to take your reels to a local tackle shop and get them to spool them for you. (It’s important to add a backing of Mono when using braided line; helps "slippage" and saves you money.)

Approx 80 Yards of 12-14LB Mono blood-knotted to 120-130 Yards of Power Pro 6/20.

Best BAIT?

1. Live Shrimp

2. Live Mullet & Mud-minnows.

3. Berkley "Gulp" Swimming Mullet or Jerk Shad fished on a 1/4-1/2 OZ Jig or with a 5/0 Owner Wide-gap Offset hook.

4. Gold/Copper colored spoons with a curly-tailed grub-body "trailer" is a great general scouting lure – http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_89224_151004003_151000000_151004000_151-4-3

Use a float rig for the Shrimp and a "Carolina rig" for the Mullet or Mud-minnows

Hope the links and suggestions help ya? Good luck!

I am going to be staying in the San Francisco Hilton in the Financial District (750 Kearny Street San Francisco, CA 94108).

What is the best way to get to Fisherman’s wharf (other than walking)?
Also are cabs available at Fisherman’s Wharf which you can take to drive back to the hotel?

Also what are some good cheap places to eat around the hotel?

Any good shops in Chinatown that sell jade jewelry?

You will have no problem getting a cab from your hotel, there are cabs waiting outside all major hotels or the door man can get one for you. Getting a cab at fisherman’s wharf may be a bit more challenging.

You can also catch a 9x bus just a 1/2 block from the hotel that will take you to the Wharf and take the same bus back. Ask the hotel concierge or check out the Muni website for more info:

By cheap restaurants I assume you mean under $20 per meal?
My suggestions:
Café Macaroni – Columbus at Jackson – Wonderful Italian food, opt for smaller space on east side of Columbus
Henry’s Hunan at 674 Sacramento, on Battery at Broadway or between 2nd and New Montgomery and Harrison and Folsom south of Market near the MOMA. – Great Chinese don’t miss Diana’s Meat Pie
Moderately priced dim sum at City View restaurant on Commerical at Kearny.
Cheap dim sum is Louie’s on Stockton at Broadway. Best hargow and pork buns in the city! Take out only
Marios Bohemian Cigar Store at Union and Columbus, a good place for lunch, try the meatball sandwich or chicken pannini…mmmmm!
SF Brewing Company on Columbus at Pacific a brew pub with good typical bar food.
On Kearney between Pine and Bush there is a whole array of decent cheap restaurants. Lee’s Deli Does Great Sandwiches, Burritos and Chinese food or choose from Thai, Japanese, Hawian BBQ, Mexican, Cuban, Indian or Greek restaurants on that single block.
Lots of jade for sale in C-town. Skip the places on Grant Avenue and check for places along the cross streets or in the alleys between Grant and Stockton.

I have a small tank (28L) with 10 small tropical fish in and usually feed them flakes but was wondering how often should i feed them live bait?

As small as your fish are, you need to limit the live food to things like brine shrimp, mosquito larvae, bloodworms, daphnis and the like. Feed it to them as much as 3-4 times a week, they will do well for the treat.

Can i feed dried fish power to my koi carp fry? In our place some lake fisher man catch fish fish and they dry them in sun and sold them. These dry fish are especially sold for humenbeing. But i am wondering if i can feed this to my koi fish fry too or not? Does any one had experience in feeding fish itself to other live fish?

Koi are omnivorous.

They will eat eventually everything such as:

1.flake and pellet food or specialised proprietary koi foods of
various types;

2.also include some vegetable matter and

3.live or frozen foods ;

4.fish may nibbles at plants as well.

i am on day 29 of my cycle and apoximately 10po.
my last 4 temps were 98.5, 98.5, 98.4 and today 98.6

does this look good to you?
i’ve been ttc and this is my first time charting.. i broke down and tested yesterday and got a BFN.. is there still hope?

Please help!
oh yeah my cycle is normally 33 days

This is only my second month of BBT charting. I started with the first day of my last period and my temps were high for the first 2 days then they dropped. This month my temp also stayed high for the first 2 days AF was visiting then dropped to my normal pre-O temp. My cycle is about 31 days long and I Oed at day 21 so I only have a 10 day luteal phase.
I am not big on POAS so I’ve only ever taken 2 HPT and that was because my DH was convinced I was expecting not because I was late. Are you charting on paper on on-line? Fertility Friend has a free basic service but I think I’m going to update to their VIP service because it has great features like suggested test days and my DH loves the stop light so he knows when we should BD.
Give it a little more time if AF doesn’t arrive by 18 DPO take another test (18 is the amount of days Fertility Friend recommended this month for me).
Good Luck!

TTC #1 for 21 months

I am fishing in lakes, ponds, and rivers. Should I use bobbers? What techniques? I have a lot of floating and popper lures.

The deadliest lure I’ve ever used for both largemouth bass and pike are the spinner baits that are kind of bent into a "V" shape with spinning blades on one side and the hook with a weight and some rubbery feathers on the other side. Use pure white.

The second best lure is an inline spinner such as a "mepps". It has a cylindrical weight with a 3 pronged hook on the end, a spinning blade towards the front end and some feathery strands near the hook. Use pure white again.

Use these two lures near a large mouth bass and you’ll catch at least one.

As far as poppers, you may want to try them late in the evening just before dark when there’s lots of activity on the surface of the water from fish feeding on bugs. Toss the popper as far as you can and let it sit still. Then all you have to do is occassionally "tap" the rod just enough to make the water ripple around the popper. This technique can be effective, but you have to set the hook at just the right time. If you can’t cast the poppers very far, then put a bobber on the line about 4-5 feet up from the popper, then use the bobber as weight to help cast the popper further.

Boca Grande pass is best know for it’s tarpon, and giant hammerheads that try to feed on them! Located off southern tip of Gasparilla Is., east of Port Charlotte.
