I used to live in Tarpon Springs, FL which has a large Greek population. We had the best restaurants ever! I love greek food, but I’m in VA for school and there are NO greek places around here.

I know how to make stuffed grape leaves– Mmm! But can you give me the names and recipe/website for some others? I’m interested in like potato, lamb, and desserts. THANKS!

Here are a few:

An archer wishes to shoot an arrow at a target at eye level a distance of 42.5 m away. If the initial speed imparted to the arrow is 75.0 m/s, what angle should the arrow make with the horizontal as it is being shot?

Please let me know how to solve this, thanks!

It depends a great deal on the seemingly unimportant variables you did not include in the equation. What is the amount of force applied to the arrow; direction and speed of wind, if any; physical weight of the arrow; dynamic balance of the arrow (how far from front or rear is the actual point of balance)? There are other variables as well, and they must all be included in the equation.

The answer to the question, as it is now worded, is "somewhere between 0 and 90 degrees above horizontal". It might be 1/2 a degree, and it might be 40 degrees, it might be 0 degrees — depending on the variables which are not included in the formulation of the question.

Name them and add a link of this video on YouTube.

I am a Defensive Tackle for my JV team. I’m a freshman and I’m starting. I am 5’9 194 pounds. I really want to go to college for football on a scholarship. What are some things I should be doing to help my dream.

Play very fantastic.

I have been looking a the Carp-Porter Fat boy, Fat-boy low loader and the Mark 2. Also a barrow by Daiwa. It needs to be easy to fold up, take the wheel of and not too heavy.

I laugh at how much stuff some carp anglers take with them, now I know how life is with them these days.
At Tring reservoirs (Startops) a while back I had to manouvre the wheelchair I was pushing my Mother around in right in to the hedge to allow a guy with a massively-loaded barrow covered with a tarp to get past on a narrow part of the path. Always happens doesn’t it? Couldn’t have turned up at a wide bit, haha.
I thought he might be a builder, come to repair the bird-watching platform we had just passed, which had "Danger-No Entry" signs and a tape across it.
A minute later I saw a carp tent, or ‘bivvie’ as they call them. Not in my book. A bivvie is less than a third of the size of tent this guy had. I’m a fell walker and touring cyclist, used to camping wild on mountains and moorland. Love it.
What he had around was more than I would have in a camp for a month!
If I go for trout or carp in our local reservoirs or for salmon in the couple of decent swims we have, everything but the rods goes in a rucksack and a small tackle bag. That includes a tent and sleeping bag for over-nights, and food, and a stove and spare fuel, washing kit and towel, a book to read, and the photo gear and binos.
I travel light, not frugal.
I get set up away from the water and move with stealth. (Lovely word that isn’t it? All creepy and spies and things. Military career, see. And an opportunistic camper, well hidden, and safe)
That guy had a construction site!
Green in colour, fine, but looming high at the edge of the water, and very obvious.
No wonder they take ages getting a fish! And then perhaps even use the time excuse as the reason for needing all that stuff.
Crazy!
I’m going for sea bass tomorrow, from a glorious beach twenty miles away in the north of the island I live on. On the piccie, behind the mist.
Family visit done for this month. Look forward to next.
Symmon’s Yat, I got planned, if the weather’s good.
Mum loves it there. Not mentioning fishing, oh no. There for the scenery.
And she really does love it.
But I’ll have a bag with me, hint hint.
Well, you do don’t you? Fishing again? Tut tut!
The bag’s all ready for tomorrow, all but the food and water barrel. It weighs about fifteen pounds, twenty or a bit over when the food and water are in.
Everything for a day and an overnight on the beach for wildlife photography and fishing, coffee making, and freshly-cooked meals.
In a rucksack, a tackle bag, and a bag with two rods in.
Oh, and a pole and a sprung steel net-rim, sprung out flat. The rest of the net is collapsed, and in the rucksack.
Home made, that net. Takes almost no room at all.

with the New visioned church In Charters Towers and the amazing testimoneys, is Revival in reach? Will we see the Acts 3:38,39 revival. Will Smith wigglesworths prophecy come true, is this the great southland of the Holy spirit?

Charters Towers church is moving 130 years too late.
Modern application of a worldwide preaching ministry as mentioned in Matthew 24:14 started decades ago . . and is nearly finished now.

Jehovahs Witnesses have nearly completed the worldwide work to preach Jehovahs Kingdom by Christ in over 383 languages and 236 lands .

When will Charters Towers church ‘start preaching’ in South Australia? *looks like the ministry is not so important to them after all*.

I need your suggestions and recommendations for the best lures you know of (and I mean name and brand) for Muskie, Bass, and Pike. I currently have Zara Spooks, Thunderstick, Rapala surface skimmer, daredevil, Yozuri Popper, Buzzbait, plastic worms, and Wild Eye baby bass. My usual spot is muddy waters, usually sunny but sometimes great overhead is available. Im going to the store tommorow, so thats why I’m asking. Lures and colors?
Oh I also have 3 Algia Mepps, 1 Muskie Killer, and Magnum Muskie Killer
And a couple spinners.. deep diving and shallow diving crankbaits as well.

you got a nice selection there for bass and a couple lures for pike.

things for bass i would add to your collection are…

senkos (any color works great)
yum buzzfrogs (watermelons, pumpkin colors)
spinnerbaits (orange/green, junebug, black, chartruese, red)

for pike i would add…

wild eye baby pike
6-8 inch jointed rapala (firetiger, perch, pike colors work great)

I need a resonably priced reel for chasing Tarpon, Snook, and Bonefish. Brand names would be appreciated.

Okuma makes a decent reel for saltwater applications and you could match that up with decent saltwater rod as well. I would get an 8wt or a 9wt. Go to FAOL or outdoorbest.zerofrorums – flyfishing section and search archived posts and ask some questions. I would not target tarpon with anything less than a 10wt rod and reel with a good line. The 8wt or 9wt will cross between salt and freshwater fishing if you want to target peacock bass in Florida or largemouth basss as well. Based on your budget, say $250 look at Cabelas and Bass Pro combos for 8wt and 9wt. Good luck

I and some friends are fishing this weekend at Greer’s Ferry in Central Arkansas. Primarily from the Devil’s Fork Landing area.

I’m fish for just about anything and this lake as large and small mouth bass as well as catfish, brim and crappie. I just need a bunch of suggestions on what type of lures, artificial bait, etc, I should purchase before the trip. I mainly use real worms, but I’ve some a bit of other stuff. I just need some more…

I love fishing for Catfish, so any ideas on tackle for that kind of fish would be helpful as I plan on using the stuff after this trip.

Please don’t just give pat answers. Winner will get the 10 points for sure. Sources will get my attention as well!!!!

Thanks for your help.

Not sure about arkansas but for catfish i have always used a treble hook with a sinker about a foot abouve the hook. and on the hook put 1 live worm and and a dead minnow. If you have minnows for small mouth and crappie fishing just set up the ones that don’t make it on yopur catsish rigs.

There’s two yard long carp in my neighborhood pond and i can’t seem to catch them

use corn, make a stink bait with bread, or buy something for carp at a store
