Who is authour of book called Fishing or Angling?

Published about 40 - 50 years ago. Treated each species of fish. discussed paternoster rigs and indicated that did not know where the name came from.

If you are talking about the "Mc Clanes" thick green hardcover called "the fisherman’s encyclopedia" I have two, but below is one (though a second edition) available on ebay.

    books called "fishing" or "angling" were written by only about the thousands.
    there are so many books out there with fishing or angling in the title, you have put upon us a herculean task of coming up with the right one.

    artie’s book is an excellent one that belongs in everyone,s angling library anyway, whether or not that is the correct one.
    come to think of it, if you have just this book, you will have a complete library.
    especially a later printing which will have even more and more current information.
