I've been jugging about 7 years now and I absolutely love it. I useally use cut brim, cut shad, or frozen catawba worms. Does anyone know another bait that works well.

Your using the best bait , cut suckers or chunks of carp work. cut shiners , or fresh shrimp .

Live crawfish….big ones. Trust me on this one, you will be glad you did. (or a live brim, hook him so he can swim around)

chicken liver stays on pretty good. Lets see, dough balls, hot dogs, wild cat cheese, chicken blood mix. Depends where you are at i guess. I have seen different ponds catch catfish with different bait.
also i heard somewhere about a guy using spam to catch catfish…. that was odd.. but i bet it would work…

another great thing to use for bait along with the others listed is stew beef. Its already cut into nice chunks that work quite well , the pieces stay on the hook very well , and I catch more catfish on it than any of the others.
