hey, i hope you … hey, i hope you enjoy the gig….but look…that was 27 years ago…they were on TOP of their game back then….Powell is 58 now, and you’ll not get to see the great Ted Turner Or Steve Upton OR Martin Turner !!!….have fun anyway !!!
I think the band is … I think the band is singing live but with no live instruments being played. No mic for any of the drums??? My fav album was Live Dates, great real live sound much better than this weak effort.
Saw em in 70 when … Saw em in 70 when support band to Yes.
Bought the 1st album the week after, wasnt disappointed and never have been with the band, always deliver and always superb live.
Some 1st albums tend to be classics, W.A.s is.
First saw them … First saw them about73 at pirates world in Ft.Laud, they opened up for Alice cooper. Great band. Than saw them again about 9 years ago out in golden, Colorado.Only one original member left thats Andy powell and his Flying v quitar .they still rocked.
Usually the Turner … Usually the Turner on Bass does the singing. The Turner singing on this (I forgot their first names) lives in Scottsdale,AZ and his little boy was hit and killed by a drunk Rolls Royce driving jerk a few years ago.

35 years later I know why we liked them so much. Great songs, guitar tones, vocals, etc. I was pleasantly suprised to catch them in Greece early 83. EC, Albert Lee, Duck Dunn passed through too.. $10!

The bloke with the white(ish) jacket on is the clever one from ‘The Goodies’, right????
