    Are they edible for humanoid consumption? Perhaps these fish could be caught and fed to impoverished humanoids that haven’t any foods to consume.

    They already tried …
    They already tried that with Grass Carp, which are also spreading and reproducing throughout the Mississippi Basin. Haven’t you seen Jurasic Park…plenty rings true in that movie. Only solution now is to harvest them for food, protien, pet food, fertilizer and learn from our mistakes and not let it happen again.

    Need to introduce geneticly altered asian carp that only give birth to males. It will take years for it to work but the result will be a good one. When there are nothing but males then there days will be numbered. Bring on the scientists to begin the genetic invasion.

    I believe there an invasive spices that has pushed out a great deal of the indigenous (and better tasting) local spices.
    Someone needs to find a way to kill them all without killing the local species, that is if they want there children and grandchildren to experience the joy of catching and frying there own catfish…
