I was just wondering how many fish (carp or tench) could potentially be stocked into a body of water. For example into a body of water around 1 Acre ranging from 1 feet to 5 feet in depth?

wow! one is like, way too many!

Good question this, if the balance is not right the carp will out eat the tench therefore the lesser fish would suffer, there is no hard and fast solution to this but sense and logic would prevail, there are so many factors to take in consideration, suffice to say that if I were in the situation to do the stocking I would definitely get in touch with the Environment Agency in that area for advice.

It will depend on the size of the fish , if you get in touch with the Environment Agency they will let you know by Kg per Acre.
