Tommy Lewis’ illegal tackle is a infamous play in college football, but has it ever happened again since?

Just curious if any other players have come of the sideline in the middle of a play to make a tackle. For some reason I faintly remember something similiar to this happening in the late 80′ or early 90′s.

Some time it happens. Just like Auburn chop block Glen Dorsey at LSU and Auburn game. Ref stayed there and said nothing.
Where can I find dealers or wholesalers for fishing tackle?
the first thing I would do is go on line and type in fish and tackle wholesale and or manufacturers. This will be a starting point. decide on the brands you wish to support and contact the MFG directly and ask if they sell direct or where the nearest wholesaler to you is located.

Tackle….?

Mighty Mike weighs 200 lbs and is running down the football field at 8 ft/s. Speedy Gonzales weighs only 100 lbs but runs 16 ft/s, while Ponderous Poncho weighs 400 lbs and runs only 4 ft/s. In the encounter who will be more effective in stopping Mike?
a) Speedy Gonzales
b) Ponderous Poncho
c) Both the same
Who is more likely to break Mike’s bones?
a) Speedy Gonzales
b) Ponderous Poncho
c) Both the same
The answer to the first question is c. This is straight momentum conservation in action. Note that Mike’s momentum is exactly opposed by the momentum of Speedy or Poncho (200 X 8 = 100 X 16 = 400 X 4). So the impulse that stops Mike upon collision is the same whether by Speedy or Poncho. Both are equally effective in bringing Mike to a halt.
The answer to the second question is: a. Even though Speedy and Poncho have the same stopping effect or momentum or impulse or punch, Mike will be hurt more by the collision with Speedy (ask any football player). Why? Because Speedy has more kinetic energy than Poncho. Remember my questions GUSH and STOPPING. When you double the speed of a thing it takes double the speed of a thing it takes double the time to stop, but it takes four times as much distance to stop. It penetrates four times as deep. That means it has four times as much kinetic energy. Now Speedy is going four times faster than Poncho.
Does this mean he penetrates sixteen times deeper than Poncho, using sixteen times as much kinetic energy? No. Why? Because SPeedy has only one fourth as much mass as Poncho, so he has one-fourth of sixteen times as much linetic energy — four times as much. So Speedy’s four-fold energy penetrates fourt imes further into Mike. That’s why it hurts more to be tackled by Speedy than by Poncho.
All three have the same momentum, so any pair colliding head on will result in a dead stop.
c) for Q1.
Breaking bones deals with the kinetic energy lost in the collision. The greater the KE before collision, the greater the damage. In this case, Speedy has a higher 1/2 mv^2 so he is more likely to break Mike’s bones. But he might just as easily break his own.
a) for Q2.

It would be like a amateur or minor league tackle football team, except without pay, if they even get paid in amateur and minor league.
I am not starting a league, I want to start a team and join a league. I am aware of cost of equipment and insurance and have that taken care of, that’s why they have team fees. is there any thing paticular about starting a Adult team, and what steps must I take.
First off, do you realize how much football equipment costs? Thousands of dollars for a team!
Secondly, if you create an actual league, you need to carry insurance, otherwise anyone who get hurt while playing in your "league" will be able to sue you personally!
Clearly you haven’t thought this through. Most areas have existing "semi-pro" leagues where this stuff is already taken care of. Find one!

Chemistry Question: What does pollution do to harm the ozone layer? How are we going to tackle this problem? Please help me! Thanks!
In scientific terms I can not help but in layman’s terms it goes something like this: pollution thins the ozone layer which in turn lets more harmful sun rays through. It is not good for crops and not good for humans. also another thing it does is gives us the haze during the days that can cause health problems. Use a more efficient fuel. Crack down on business that release all the nasty stuff into the air. Some of which by the way causes cancer among other things.
