Ha! That was a mouthful!
My 31 year old boyfriend is a union electrician, a big time fisherman, he loves hard death metal and is a drummer in a kick a** metal band www.myspace.com/sickerthanmostband .
There are so many different avenues! Should I get him something from all of his loves? Should I focus on one thing? And the WHAT – Please give me ideas as to what I should get him.
Call up a few deep sea fishing charters if you live close to the shore.
Perhaps check your city paper to see what bands are coming to town – you could get him tickets to see a concert.
Just treat it as fun, don’t go looking for a tool he could use for work, etc.

You should actually talk to him more about gifts and things he likes. Most likely he will give you clues when you two go out together on things he really wants. It’s usually best to get ideas from the man himself rather than just blindly guessing what he will like cause if you get the wrong thing he will appreciate it but not be all "wow" when he sees it.

If he likes fishing… maybe a nice get away to a rustic, outdoor fishin trip with a buddy (or you) or something would fit. He can get away from electrician work for a while, do some fisher’in and kick back at night over a camp fire with freshly caught dinner while listenin to his favorite tunes or feeling relaxed enough to write some new stuff for his kick a** metal band <wink>
