What are your favorite low profile lures?
09.October, 2009
I mean lures that aren’t too main stream, like rapalas or money minnows. Y’know. Like when you ask some random person at your lake they don’t just go yeah, i’m using a banjo minnow, i’m using a rapala…
Mine…Gary yamamoto or whatever senkos. watermelon color. Also, mimic minnows are sweet.
So you like Yamamoto Senko’s?
Want to save a TON of money and get as good a quality product as a Senko?
Check this out- http://cgi.ebay.com/50-4-Senko-Type-Fishing-Lures-Watermelon-Red-Black_W0QQitemZ270462386252QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ef8d0804c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
A pkg of Gary Y Senko’s retails for about $7 - $8 per 10. On EBay you can get 50 for $14-$15. $7 X 5= $35
You get twice the Senkos for half as much! AND they work JUST as good as a name-brand, GY Senko!
I buy tons of lures and used tackle from EBay. If your careful about who you purchase from you can usually get AMAZING deals on fishing equipment.

09.October, 2009 um 9:23 amI keep a fishing log of every time I go fishing and looking back on 2009 so far I had 2 lures that really produced for me. One is a Bomber Square A shallow crank in threadfin shad color. The other is the Yamamoto mini Inka grub that is a pan-fish bait that I would rig on a drop shot. They make a large Inka grub but I bought the small ones for crappie and bluegill and for kicks one day I put it on a drop shot and the bass were killing it. So those are my indie rock baits. I got one month left here in Asheville and it’s off to Portland, Oregon and new fishing adventures there.
