I want to use lures on my spinning reel to catch some hornyhead chub. What can I use and how.

Use a tiny 1/32 oz jig or try a trout fly. Just use a small pear shaped bobber about 2 or 3 feet above the lure and give it a cast. let the jig sink to a count of 3 and give it a couple of small tugs imitating a bug. Do the same with the trout fly and I am sure you ill catch em. Good luck.

Try using a casting bubble with a wet fly or weighted nymph. However, I have done fairly well using ant imitations, grasshopper or rubber leg spiders as well. If you are on the right creek do not be surprised if you catch trout, smallmouth, largemouth or bluegills and sunfish as well.
