I have 6 differant reels
each reel has a a series of number on it like 4lb-250….the amount of line a reel holds depends on the line dia expressed as in this case 4lb line the second number is yards……but keep in mind unless your trolling you only use less than 100yrds anyway…..so the bottom 150 yrds can be the cheap stuff…and the top line the better quality line.
Lure them in with us!

Depends on the fish you’re going to be fighting what ratings of your reel are.
My Shimano Tiagra has 800 yards of Izorline braid and 100 yards of Izorline XXX. Thats only because I fish Blue Marlin in Cabo though.

well im a very experience fishermen and i tend to put some electrician tape around the spool to bulk it up then put 100m of line around it just enough so it reaches the top of the rim so it makes it easy for casting

fill up each spool about half way. Too much line on the reel and it will get all tangled when you cast.
Or try looking up each reel online and see if it says how much line to put on each one.
Also if you have 6 different reels, you most likely want to set them up differently with different weight line, so I would just buy a couple of spools of different weight line and that should be more than enough.
