Freshman JV Starting Defensive Tackle wanting to go to College for football?

I am a Defensive Tackle for my JV team. I’m a freshman and I’m starting. I am 5’9 194 pounds. I really want to go to college for football on a scholarship. What are some things I should be doing to help my dream.

Play very fantastic.

    You might want to reconsider why you want to go to college. Education first. So many guys want what you want. Only 2% of college players picked for the draft or free agents. If you do go to college for your education NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can take that from you. Go for both. If you’re are lucky and get picked for the draft and make it to the pros more power to you. If you get hurt that first big play you always have an education.

    So rethink why you want to go to college.

    your kinda small u have to get stronger and faster lift lift lift i im a 10th grader last year i started varisty as a freshman and won a state championship i was 6 1 250 and i was under sized i was ranked number 6 linemen in my state u have a along way to go

    keep playin and if you dont get letters then go to a jounior college and see if you get a scholarship
