How do you get a Pikachu to learn Volt Tackle in Pokemon Emerald/Platinum?

I want a Pikachu to learn Volt Tackle but how? It doesn’t matter what generation it is, can be 3rd or 4th.

Unfortunately, you can’t. You have to give Pikachu an item called Light Ball and breed it. The baby Pichu will know the move Volt Tackle. =)

    You would need to give the pikachu your breeding with light ball. The offspring will know volt tacke. It is a physical move. Can be found on wild pikachu. I would reccomend going to the trophy garden with something that knows theif. Rarer than lucky egg. I’ve only ever managed to find 1. After a 6 hour search.
