He is a linebacker right? I thought linebackers were allowed to tackle.
Last night against the Colts, he was flagged for tackling a Colts player in the endzone, that made the player fumble. I don’t think the refs want Lewis to tackle.

Ray Lewis with a personal foul. Why, I never…. You know Ray Lewis knew that was a penalty when he fled the field and got rid of his uniform.

Interesting to see how Ravens fans blame this loss on the refs. The refs DID call the change of possession when they fumbled.

Another dumb penalty and another reason why it gets harder and harder to watch the NFL.

If he had half a brain he would figure out how to hit without leading with is helmet. Concussions are a hot button issue in the league right now. These rules are made to protect him and the people that he is trying to hurt.

He has that bad reputation that will follow him throughout his NFL days. Too many people associate his tough guy image with a thug like mentality. Its not the same thing. Like he said he won’t change the way he plays. No matter how many rule changes they institute. The league and play is slowly passing him by. Which is why he is the last great linebacker you will see play this way. Where his hits or highlights "outshines" his numbers. Even though both are great.

In the NFL today, you can’t tackle too high, you can’t tackle too low, and you can’t tackle too hard, especially if it’s a quarterback.

I’m waiting for the day when they put flags on the QB and you have to pull that flag out to end the play…NO tackling of the QB will be allowed. They’re getting close to this.

Agree. The penalty he got called for yesterday was lame to put it mildly. It was neither malicious or late.

It’s all part of the NFL transformation from tackle to 2-hand touch to prevent injuries.
They figured they’d start with the QB position first.
    What a joke it’s become. I agree.
