Tarpon fishing in the United States ?

I see them in Florida .Is this the only place to catch them ?
I only want to fish in the United States .

Tarpon are found in the waters of all Gulf states and as far up the seaboard as Virginia in the warm water months. They are scarce in all but south Florida in the winter.
